Cute restaurant in an old house, very charming…The best types of restaurants are in old houses!!! Really relaxing- we ate on the patio. Nice breeze kept us comfortable… very pleasant. The service was wonderful- our server, Alyssa, was great! The food: You should definitely get: the egg rolls, Miso soup, Hot & Spicy Noodles, & one with broth, and spicy noodles w cabbage & peppers (Yakiduon) & chicken tacos! And don’t leave without trying the cake: Mango was very good but our top fave was the pistachio!
This is a quaint little restaurant that you should definitely stop by for an evening of great food and drinks. Alyssa was awesome as our server and made great recommendations for food. The drink selection is amazing with beer, wine, and sake options. Near downtown Deland, this restaurant is a must.
Just had a fabulous dinner at Mongoose restaurant in Deland. I had the Vietnamese Noodle soup with crispy tofu and it was absolutely phenomenal! We got the homemade mango cake for dessert and it was just as delicious. Allysa was a terrific server and the outside patio was a perfect setting. We’ll definitely be back!
All the food is made from scratch, and it tastes amazing. PLEASE save room for a slice of cake! They have homemade cake, and it is a must to order a slice!! Honestly, if you want the best dessert in Deland, go here and get some cake. In case I didn't already mention it... you need to try their cake
Alyssa was a wonderful server. First time there and her recommendations were great! Menu is simple and straightforward and although there wasn’t many options, the options there are great. I highly recommend the tacos as an appetizer and finish your meal with a lemon cake. 10/10
Alyssa was awesome! It was my families first time there and we all loved the food so much! My toddler loved the butter noodles, he’s a very big pasta dude! 10/10 recommend
Awesome little hideaway! Alyssa the server was so cute! She was super great! Got the Tan Tan rice balls for an appetizer and they were very tasty! Wanted to try the spicy beef n noodles and picked hot. And it was HOT! Normally hot isn’t hot in Asian restaurants but this was so hot I could barely eat it! But I kept at it! So hot and spicy IS hot and spicy but so good! The atmosphere is great. And the food was on point! Highly recommend this little joint!!
Best restaurant I’ve been too in a long time! The food is exceptional - I’m still drooling over the ramen it was the best broth I’ve ever tasted - both times I’ve tried it! The drinks were perfect with the meal! The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and fun The tacos were out of this world! I traveled two hours to eat this masterpiece
